Future Plans

Hey all!

Between life and figuring out our next step, it's been a hectic few months, but we just wanted to give you an update on what we've got planned!

In the short term, we're reworking the prologue as well as writing the initial story content for Brodie and Gavin's routes, bringing them up to the same point as Vincent and Marco.

In the long term, we're looking to expand on all aspects of the novel. We were happy with where things went in the Love+Affection Game Jam(link) build, but we always knew we wanted to see them through to a more satisfying conclusion. At the same time, we want a story with an ending that feels in sight to us as writers, and that we can actually deliver on.

So, with all that said, we're aiming to produce a few major updates over the next year. Each release will contain new story content for all routes, covering another chunk of the characters' continued service aboard the New Providence. Beyond the additional writing, we also want each update to bring a bit more of an original identity to the novel, including a more fitting UI as well as new artwork.

There's still a long road ahead of us, but we're excited to bring more of the story to you! See you soon!
